Security Guard Requirements

A California guard card is not necessary to apply but it is required for employment. Unarmed security guard applicants must be 18 years of age or older and armed security guard applicants must be 21 years of age or older, legal to work in the United States, and successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test to be considered for employment.
